"PaPoU photographies" booklet available

Wed Jul 8, 2009, 2:01 AM
Hello everyone!

It's been quite a long time since I didn't write anything here even if I've been shooting and posting pictures again lately.

I'm being a little busy at the moment as my girlfriend, a friend and I are having a quite nice exhibition at the moment which took us quite a lot of our time.
I took this exhibit as a reason to move myself a bit in producing a 24 pages booklet presenting some of my work to sell there.

If anyone is interested, price is 20 euros or 30 dollars + shipping (3€ or 5$).
Paypal is surely the best way to proceed (you won't even need an account to pay with your credit card). Feel free to note or email me for further details.
Hope you're all allright!
Loads o' kisses

A PaPoU in New York

Journal Entry: Wed Aug 15, 2007, 12:43 PM
I'm not updating much here I'm sorry...
I've been quite busy lately... PhD dissertation to finish, a girlfriend I just met and fell in love with... and a trip to New York to organize! And I didn't even told you folks about that!
I've been here for a week and will stay for 5 more so if anybody is around and would like to meet or shoot, tell me, that will be a pleasure.
I've got to admit my inspiration isn't at its best these days but NY is an incredible city and seems just made for photography so stay tuned cause I should try to move my a.. and post a few things down here!
CU!

Editing + Hasselblad (?)

Journal Entry: Sat Feb 24, 2007, 7:48 AM
A few days ago I stole a film scanner from my mother who only do digital now while I am having fun with those great old cameras.
As I tried a Hasselblad (500C) yesterday (yummy!) I plugged the scanner and re-scaned old negatives I had scanned before with my classic scanner. Difference is huge so I thought it was worth posting a journal note to tell you some old stuff was being refreshed. Here is the deviation I edited :

Hasselblad film has been developed and is drying in my bathroom. Just looking in the camera was breathtaking... I'm looking forward to seeing how it will look like when scanned, with a proper scanner! I may post some stuff here (even if the 12 pics were taken in a parking lot! ;))

New exhibition

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 16, 2007, 2:15 AM
Quite a busy day...
Got a paperwork to finish for yesterday (and I'm writing a journal note on dA... Ok!) and tonight's the "vernissage" of my new exhibition. I'm really looking forward to it! I think I'm gonna have a great time.
The place is great! Some kind of a restaurant you feel like knowing for ages even if you've only been there twice. The restaurant is owned by two incredible girls who make one feel home the very moment he enters. I'm gonna be fine there for the two next months.
The girls seem to be quite happy with the result and I think I am too. Hanging the frames with rope was a real pain in the a... but it looks nice in the end.
I'll try to get some pics done to show you down here how it looks like...

Calendar's done, waiting for orders

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 3, 2007, 4:02 PM
Here we are, the calendar is over and, even if it has been a bit hard, prints are finally allright and the whole thing just looks great to me on its very thick A4 glossy paper. :excited: (you can see a preview here : [link] )

As I said, the calendar will be available for sale. Price is 20 little dollars + shipping (which should be around 2$) and I can ship it worldwide so I'm waiting for your orders now! :D

Of course, each copy will get a special note from me to the one it's going to be sent to!

Procedure is really simple. What you have to do is :
1. send me an email (at papou@galeriepapou.com) with your email, complete name, adress and country.
2. wait for my email to ask you to make the payment on PayPal (you can pay with a credit card without even having a PayPal account and that seems to be the safest solution)
3. wait a tiny little time until the calendar makes its way to your mailbox (I promise I'll do my best to post it as fast as I possibly can).

You allready know the calendar pics, but here is the cover :
